Screenings

The FADE TO BLACK project is designed as a discovery game. The mistress of ceremonies administrates video, audio, picture and text archives with original material from the case (background information and elements of the crime). She will give the participants the occasion to have a look at the authentic material and analyze the superficial sensation story which is spread by the yellow press.

The audience will be invited to work on the material of the archives in an aesthetic way and to join a workgroup on a certain issue or to participate in any different way in one of the projects. The core question is, how it occured, that this crime was committed. In order to review samples of the archives there are live-videos, pictures and texts so that different distribution formats are likely to be generated.

At the screenings First results will be shown.

The series of presentations at TESLA explore the characteristics and potentials of narration in the electronic age. This time not in a theoretical way but by gave an artistic example. more

Among other things we had a preview of the feature film "Shit Happens" by Andrés Fuentes Cannobbio and Malaria7.

The purpose of the events is also to introduce to the project actors, artists, editors, directors, comic book artists, storytellers and those who want to become one of those as well as to give all participants the opportunity to exchange their ideas about possibilities of production and distribution.
